One sunny Saturday, me and my boyfriend were skating through Golden Gate Park, (him on his skateboard, me on my rollerskates) and passed by John Cardiel and Julian Stranger riding their bikes in the opposite direction. The interaction only lasted less than a minute, but it was rad:

Jake: “CARDS! JULIAN! HEY!”

Cardiel: “HEY MAN!”

Me: *big smile*

(they pass)

Jake: (turns back) “RIGHT ON!”

Cardiel (pointing at me): “BOOTY???”

Jake: “YEA!!!”

Cardiel: “YEEEAAAAAA!!!!”

What everyone says about Cardiel is totally true, its hard not to be stoked when you see that big grin. I bet he would be awesome to go camping with.
